Reitnau with victory for Faustini

Great spectator interest, good weather despite fears of storms and thunderstorms and, after accidents and interruptions, an exciting competition that ended with a day's victory for Midland driver Robin Faustini - the Reitnau hill climb could not have been a greater success.

And this was five years after the last Reitnau hill climb in 2019, after which the pandemic and financial and organisational reasons prevented it from taking place. A group of people from Reitnau did not want to accept this. They founded the Association Verein Bergrennen Reitnau and, together with Equipe Bernoise, which was responsible for the race organisation, finally brought the race back to life and made it a success.

In the race, Robin Faustini set the two fastest times, which were only 2 and 3 hundredths above the course record, and thus took the day's victory. Marcel Steiner was unable to compete for scheduling reasons, but was there as a guest. Michel Zemp finished 4th, Simon Wüthrich 14th and Vanesssa Zenklusen unfortunately only 51st overall.
